Nutrition & Metabolism

Section edited by Laura Soldati

This section aims to provide a platform for the interaction and mutual validation between basic and applied research in the field of nutrition. In the area of Translational Medicine, we believe that the field ought to be taken into greater account in order to generate advanced applications for diagnosis and therapy and, at the same time, to develop new instruments of investigation.

Studies on all aspects of nutrition and metabolism with applications in medicine and biotechnology will be considered for publication. The section not only welcomes contributions that employ traditional clinical, metabolic and epidemiologic methods, but is also interested in molecular and cell biology applied to human and animal nutrition.
