Criteria

Suitable candidates should:

  • have a minimum of ten (10) research papers published in reputable, English language, peer-reviewed journals;
  • be listed as first authorlast author, or corresponding author during the last five years;
  • have demonstrable expertise that fits within the scope and needs of the section being applied for; 
  • have experience as a Reviewer.

We are seeking applications from researchers with a background in the following subject areas.

Section: Combination Strategies
Scope: The section aims to highlight research into combination therapies, where two or more medications or therapies are strategically combined to improve the treatment of cancer, chronic infections, transplantation, and potentially other complex and multi-factorial diseases. 

Applicants should have expertise in bioinformatics and/ or artificial intelligence. 

Section: Computational Modelling and Epidemiology
Scope: The section focuses on population-based studies that extend towards more molecular level analysis by utilizing computational modelling and epidemiologic approaches in translational medicine. 

Applicants should have expertise in data modelling, data mining and epidemiologic analysis. 

Section: Pain, Critical Care and Anesthesia
Scope: The section focuses on the understanding of mechanistic aspects of different anaesthetic agents and molecules to deepen the insight in the role of pharmacogenetics.

Applicants should have academic experience along with at least 5 years experience as independent practitioners.
Section: Personalized Medicine
Scope: The section focuses on for research that aims to revolutionize patient care through the use of novel molecular predisposing screening, diagnostic, prognostic and pharmacogenomics. 

Applicants should have expertise in analyzing complex dataset with multiomic and phenotypic data (such as UK Biobank and FinnGen), cardiovascular diseases or rare diseases. 
Section: Translational Metagenomics
Scope: The section focuses on the role of the human microbiome in health and disease, and the development and application of metagenomics, metatranscriptomics, microbial metabolomics or novel bioinformatics tools used to improve knowledge on the microbiome. 

Applicants should have expertise in microbiome and cancer, computational biology, multiomics integration, or microbial-host interaction and modeling.
