Inhibition of NADPH oxidase with apocynin prevents oxidative stress and myocardial abnormalities in tail-suspended mice. Tail-suspended mice were given apocynin or vehicle in drinking water for 28 days. Oxidative stress was assessed by measuring ROS production (a), MDA production (b) and protein carbonyl content (c) in mouse hearts.
