Effects of vemurafenib on the growth of human melanoma cell lines. Four melanoma cell lines were cultured in presence of various concentrations of vemurafenib for 72 hours and cell proliferation was estimated as described in Methods. Results are expressed as percent of cell growth and represent the average (± standard deviation) of triplicate experiments. RPMI, cell cultures in fresh medium only, as control. Cisplatinum (CIS) at concentration of 5 μM was used as cytotoxicity positive control.
