Blue arrows represent normal glomerular structure. The green arrows showed glomerular hypercellularity. The black arrows indicated tubular necrosis. The red arrows indicated normal radiating pattern of cardiac muscle. The black dotted arrows showed extensive degeneration in cardiac muscle. Gr I: Normal; Gr II: T2D control, Gr III: T2D + AA (100 mg/kg, p.o.); Gr IV: T2D + AA (200 mg/kg, p.o.); Gr V: T2D + glibenclamide (1 mg/kg, p.o.).
