Serial whole blood specimens were collected via submandibular bleeds 24 hours after the 4th (A, B) and 8th (C, D) doses of L-BLP25, and 24 hours following the 100- or 300-mg/kg CPA administrations (E, F). Blood was pooled within each treatment group (n = 3-6 depending on blood volume obtained), and the serum was isolated and analyzed for the presence of 20 cytokines. Serum concentrations represent the mean and bars represent the range. The serum concentrations of IFN-γ were noticeably higher in the mice treated with CPA + L-BLP25 compared to those treated with L-BLP25 alone.Back to article page
