(A) Percentage dendritic cells (DCs) out of all T cells, DCs, and other hematoxylin-stained cells identified in a node (%DCs), (B) Percentage of DCs expressing CD83 out of all DCs expressing CD83 and/or CD1a (% mature DCs) and (C) Percentage of DCs that formed clusters out of all DCs in a node (% clustered DCs) were calculated in sections of healthy lymph nodes: HLN (n=7), Tumor-free non-sentinel lymph nodes: NSLN- (n=50) and Tumor-involved non-sentinel lymph nodes NSLN+ (n=22). ** denotes p<0.01 and *** denotes p<0.001.
