After 48 h of incubation in the aggregation medium, Tau protein mainly forms oligomers with only a few short fibers (A). At 72 h, longer fibers are observed but oligomer species remain abundant (B), and at 16 days, Tau protein is mainly aggregated in fibers (C). As for AcR3 peptide, fibers covering the entire area are already formed within 24h (D)
