Lung pathophysiological changes in Covid-19 patients with ARDS were matched with MSC functions. The Covid-19 patients with ARDS may present with several clinical symptoms, including respiratory failure and disrupted endothelial cell membranes. Neutrophils and T cells are recruited to the injured endothelium, escape the capillary and pass through the lung interstitium into the alveolar air space, which is filled with edema fluid.
