For the longitudinal cohort, continuous variables were analyzed using one-way ANOVA, and for the cross-sectional cohort, the Student’s t-test was used. The categorical variables were analyzed in the longitudinal cohort using χ2 goodness-of-fit test, and in the cross-sectional cohort using Fisher’s exact test
