U937 cells were treated with PGSE (1 or 3 mg/ml) for 24 hours followed by 20 units/ml TNF-α stimulation for 2 hours. Whole cell protein lysate was analyzed by Western analysis using (A) anti-phospho ERK1/2 antibodies; and (B) anti-phospho p38MAPK antibodies as described in Methods. (C) Cell lysate with PGSE treatment only was analyzed by anti-phospho ERK1/2 antibodies.
