The histopathological analysis showed that MAL is expressed in primary GC tissues of different clinical stages. The expression of the MAL protein in primary GC tumors of clinical stage IA (A), IB (B), IIA (C), IIB (D), IIIA (E), IIIB (F), IIIC (G), and IV (H) was detected using immunohistochemistry. Confocal microscopy images show the double labeling of CD44 and MAL in primary GC samples of clinical stages IA (I), IB (J), IIA (K), IIB (L), IIIA (M), IIIB (N), IIIC (O), and IV (P) detected using immunohistochemistry.
