Suppressive role of IL-18BP on osteoclastogenesis under RANKL stimulation. CD14+ monocytes from RA patients (N = 5) were cultured with RANKL (30 ng/mL) + M-CSF (25 ng/mL) without or with IL-18BP (10, 50, 100 ng/mL). A TRAP+ multinucleated cell count was measured. B The gene expression of TRAP, NFATc1, cathepsin K, and RANK from differentiated osteoclasts was measured by real-time quantitative PCR.
