Nuclear protein extracts were collected from PBMC exposed to saline or LMWF5A and stimulated with 100 ng/ml LPS or diluent control for 24 h. Transcription factor activity was then evaluated by DNA-binding ELISA, and fold changes in OD measurements were calculated for saline versus LMWF5A treatment groups for unstimulated nuclear protein samples (a), LPS-stimulated nuclear protein samples (b) and LPS-induced activation signal with unstimulated OD subtracted (c).
