The scheme of the production of human induced pluripotent stem cells from peripheral blood. After isolating the PB-MNCs using Ficoll-Paque, cells are enriched in erythroid expansion medium for 7 days to stimulate the growth of erythroid precursors. When erythroid progenitor cells reach 80% of the total PB-MNCs, cells are transfected with reprogramming vectors (Oct4, Sox2, Lin28, Klf4, and L-Myc)
