Additional stimulation of whole blood with with C3a and C5a does not affect IL2 release assay sensitivity. IL2 responses to HBsAg were assessed in presence of a, b C3a, c, d C5a as well as e, f C3a and C5a. Shown are for each condition a, c, e receiver-operating-characteristic (ROC) curves including calculated AUC (area under the curve) as well as b, d, f scatter plot of IL2 release of HepB vaccinated and unvaccinated HC after stimulation of whole blood. All depicted values were corrected by the negative control.
