Summary of the association between mtDNA haplogroups and CD4+ T cell recovery in HIV-infected patients who started combination antiretroviral therapy. Statistical: Logistic regression models were used to calculate the odds of higher or lower CD4+ recovery according to mtDNA haplogroups, one for each haplogroup evaluated.
