Decreased FDG uptake in BJAB, OCI-LY3 and SU-DHL-6 cells after incubation with c-MYC-inhibitor (5 µM), LY294002 (5 µM) and Rapamycin (500 nM) but not after incubation with PD98059 (10 µM) and SB203580 (10 µM). Cells were incubated without inhibitors or with the inhibitors indicated for 24 h and 100 kBq of FDG was added for 30 min. Cell-bound radioactivity was normalized to protein concentration determined from a parallel sample. Results are expressed as % of untreated control, mean ± standard deviation from fourfold determinations; Asterisks indicates significant decrease (p < 0.05, Student’s t test). Results of an incubation with 2-DG (2 mM) are shown as control
