Proposed algorithm for discriminating among renal cell tumours in tissue samples. High promoter methylation levels of OXR1 combined with MST1R allowed identification of renal cell tumours (RCT) from normal renal tissue, and of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) from the remaining renal cell tumours (RCT).
