CHBP suppressed apoptosis induced by serum deprivation. MSCs were seeded in 6-well plates at a concentration of 1 × 106/well and incubated in serum-free medium for indicated time. The protective effect of CHBP against apoptosis was evaluated by Annexin V/PI asaay and Hoechst 33258 staining. a Quantification analysis of flow cytometry results was performed and demonstrated. b Hoechst 33258 staining was observed under fluorescence microscopy at ×100 magnification. Fragmentation and condensation of the nucleus were recognized as the characteristics of apoptotic cells. Experiments were performed in triplicate.
