Cytokine/chemokine gene expression levels in the tumor microenvironment. Mice from PBS and CHOP×2 groups were sacrificed at day 45 p.t.i., and tumors were removed to assess the expression of cytokine and chemokines genes by quantitative RT-PCR on total tumor RNA. Gene mRNA values were normalized to that of B2m mRNA, and the results are expressed relative to mRNA levels in the PBS group. Results are shown as mean ± standard deviation (n = 5). Significant differences were observed for Ccl3, Ccl4, Ccl5, Cxcr4, Cxcl9, Cxcl12, Il2, Il12, Ifng and Tgfb genes (p < 0.05)
