  1. Psoriatic patients exhibited statistically significant differences compared with controls for anthropometric measurements, metabolic profile and bioelectrical variables. Results are expressed as mean ± SD or as median plus range according to variable distributions evaluated by Kolmogorov–Smirnov test. A p value in italic denotes a significant difference (p < 0.05). Differences between groups were analyzed by paired t test or Wilcoxon signed-rank test, when appropriate
