Freshly-isolated CD8+ T cells from RCC patients exhibit elevated levels of miR-29b and miR-198 versus normal donors. CD8+ T cells were MACS-isolated from the PBMC of 25 primary RCC patients and 15 healthy normal donors. After extraction of RNA, quantitative RT-PCR was performed for Mir-29b (panel a) and Mir-198 (panel b) as described in "Methods" section. Data are presented in box plots; *p < 0.05 for RCC patients versus healthy normal donors
