Treatment with ERCs significantly attenuates pathological damage induced by IRI in kidneys. Mouse kidneys were subjected to bilateral renal pedicles clipping for 30 min, then released and followed by 48 h reperfusion. Mice were sacrificed and the kidneys were harvested 48 h after reperfusion. a H&E staining was performed to evaluate renal pathological changes.
