Antinociceptive effects of PCW in CFA-induced TRPV1−/− and TRPV1+/+ mice. Baselines of PWT and PWL were tested in TRPV1−/− and TRPV1+/+ mice before and 48 h after CFA treatment in the right hind paw (a) and (b) (n = 6). Then, mice were orally administrated by syringe feeding with PCW (1.35 g/kg) or vehicle (10 ml/kg) once. Mechanical hypersensitivity of the injured paw was assessed by the sensitivity to the application of von Frey hairs 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4 h, post-PCW administration, respectively (c) (n = 8). Data are represented as the mean ± SEM.
