Effect of PCW on mechanical hypersensitivity induced by CFA in mice. CFA-induced inflammatory pain mice were orally administrated with PCW (0.34, 0.68, and 1.35 g/kg, respectively) or water daily for 7 days. On the 1st and 7th days, evaluations for mechanical hypersensitivity were done 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4 and 24 h post-PCW treatment; all other evaluations were done 1 h post-treatment.
