The diagnostic accuracy [frequency (in %) of true positives = sensitivity and of false positives = 100% − specificity] is presented for the tmTNF crosslinking-induced concentrations of IL-10 (a), sIL-1R1 (b) and sTNFR1 (c). Each dot represents one patient (n = 18). Area under the curve (AUC), confidence intervals (95% CI) and level of significance are given for each analysis. Sensitivity, specificity and the determined cut-off values are calculated for the discrimination between patients with a good EULAR response (n = 4) and those with a moderate or no response (n = 14) after 4 weeks of therapy.
