Immunization protocols. For the preventive response (A), six mice per group were used to evaluate the immune responses and the protection of the vaccinated mice. Half of the mice for each group were challenged with syngeneic tumor TC-1* cells, while the remaining mice were used for spleen removal and ELISPOT assays for the cell-mediated immune responses. For the therapeutic immunization (B), five mice were challenged with TC-1* cells, primed once three days after challenge, and boosted one week after the priming.
