HLA-A0201 melanocytes and melanoma cells elicit robust degranulation responses in high and intermediate RE cytolytic T cells. (A) gp100-specific or (B) MART-1-specific CTL clones previously characterized as low, intermediate, or high RE [15, 17] were incubated with various lines of melanoma, melanocyte and peptide-pulsed T2 cells for 4 hours. Lymphocytes were gated for CD8-positive cells and % population plotted for CD107-positivity was scored and plotted against each target cell line.
