Blood biochemical indexes (cholesterol, triglyceride and HDL-C) of MS rats. Blood samples were collected from the orbital sinus, and cholesterol (a), triglyceride (b), HDL-C (c) levels were measured following administration of FTZ at 6 g/kg/day, 3 g/kg/day or 1.5 g/kg/day, aspirin (AS) at 10 ml/kg/day or saline (control rats) for 8 consecutive weeks in high-fat diet-treated rats. *P<0.05, **P<0.01 compared to the control rats; ΔP<0.05, ΔΔP<0.01 compared to the MS rats.
