  1. IL-6 expression and release to the extracellular medium were measured (48 and 72 h after seeding, respectively) as indicated under Materials and methods. Corticosterone and/or NORA were incubated (at the concentrations indicated in the text) 24 h after seeding and were present in the incubation medium for 6 h, then the medium was renewed. Data are mean values + S.D. (n= 5-6) calculated for the indicated period. *P< 0.01 comparing both cell types and all conditions versus control B16-F10 cells; +P< 0.01 comparing all additions under B16-F10-FRP cells versus their equivalents under B16-F10 cells.
