NF-κB, CREB, AP-1, and NF-IL-6 DNA binding activity in nuclear extracts of B16-F10 melanoma cells treated with corticosterone or NORA. Corticosterone (C) and NORA were incubated (at the concentrations indicated in Table 1) 18 h after seeding and were present in the incubation medium for 6 h. Nuclear extracts were then obtained as described under Materials and methods. Results are means + S.D. (error bars) of 4-5 independent experiments. The significance test refers to the comparison between each experimental condition versus controls (serum treated) (*P< 0.01).
