A, B) Stimulation of HL-1 cardiomyocytes with conditioned medium of ADSC and IL-1β primed ADSC conditioned medium resulted in a significant upregulation in gene expression of IL-6 and the IL-6 receptor components gp130 and gp80 (p < 0.05). Gene transcript level of IL-6 or gp130/gp80 did not change in HL-1 cardiomyocytes upon stimulation with IL-6 alone (p < 0.05).
