A concentric ring and undermined cross-hatching with an HA-serum barrier (C) is placed prior to collagenase NB6 injection (D). (Note the natural amber appearance of collagenase). Overlying skin, but not scar, is then chemically treated with 10% TCA in a single “wet” coat without deep scrubbing and just to the point of erythema and no frost (E).
