(A) A representative western blot depicting Bax and Mcl-1 expression in normoxia (Nox), intermittent hypoxia (IH) and sustained hypoxia (SH) in one out of six experiments performed. (B) The normalized values of Mcl-1, obtained by densitometric analysis of western blots are presented as arbitrary units, and depicted as fold induction over β-actin in Nox, IH and SH.
