High expression of HMGB1 predicted poorer overall survival only for tumor >5 cm (group 3 VS group 4; p = 0.031); but not for tumor ≤5 cm (group 1 VS group 2; p = 0.101). (b) Disease-free survival. High expression of HMGB1 predict poor disease-free survival only for tumor >5 cm (group 3 VS group 4; p = 0.012); but not for tumor ≤5 cm (group 1 VS group 2; p = 0.087).
