Serum levels of IL-33 were negatively correlated with eSOD activity and positively correlated with serum MDA contents (A and B). sST2 had a closer relationship with these oxidation markers (C and D). IL-33/sST2 ratios were slightly (but significantly) correlated with decreased MDA contents (E). Correlation coefficients were calculated by Spearman’s correlation analyses. Abbreviations are the same as those shown in Tables 1 and 2.
